The Job Less Club (2)
aarghh.... it is officially 4 weeks into my never-ending holiday. thus so far, i've completed my resume in record-breaking time, joined jobstreet.com and even found time to photoshop my passport sized photo. why the sudden surge of productiveness you may ask?
it all started one fine day while my dad was reading newspaper, and out of the blue....
"how's ur resume going? i assume you have completed it?"
"yes of course! weeks n weeks ago." Liar liar.
"that's good. can i have a look at it then?" ohshitohshitohshit!!
"err its not like i'm gonna work in your restaurant. there's no need for you to see it lar..." Pants on fire.
"I have years of experience in employing workers... yadda yadda... give you good advice... yadda yadda...so let me see it."
that got me reaching straight for my PC to churn out a decent resume in neck-breaking speed. see.... all i need is a little nudge in the right direction.
good news guys, at least for me lar. koon and his family have moved to shah alam cos his dad got promoted. heehehe...now i can see my darling more often which is great after being in different campuses for almost a year.
another good news is that i'll be leaving for my trip to hk and shanghai this thursday. gawd... 20 days... i really need to look up on guide books and brush up my rusty cantonese.
p/s: i finally broke my solemn no-clothes oath after more than 3 months of "fasting". it was THE mega sale okay... how could anyone resist the temptation?
