Bubblelicious

back from another trip to melaka, and this time i get to eat without feeling the guilt, becos i've lost 2-3kgs (somebody bitch-slap me please) ever since bulan Ramadhan begun... hee! two things that i must eat everytime i go to melaka - roasted chicken wings and O-jian at kg lapan. i was in the midst of staff meeting last friday and suddenly felt a stab of longing for them. I MUST GET DOWN TO MLK TONITE! during the trip, i even managed to sneak in a quick fix of coffee at Calanthe's. this cafe actually belongs to the uncle of a friend... what are the chances man! and behold, a truly lovely cream cheese flavoured cake, found at an oddly-named cafe (was it Nadeje's?) somewhere in melaka raya. its called mille something cake, which literally means thousand layer cake in french. love the cheese that is not overempowering with a twinge of lemony flavour. anyhow, at RM7 a piece it better be good >_< newsflash, i quit :) to be continued...

i'm grateful for... the special someone who accepted me despite my faults, put up with my nonsense, waited for me during the darkest hour and still loved me after being hurt so many times. my loveliest BFFs who are always there for me irregardless of distance, never too quick to judge, and supported whatever my decision may be all the way. luvya babes! i'm hoping for... a holiday. even a local destination would do. unfortunately all my leave applications have been rejected :(( i thought i would stand a chance if i apply during the Raya week since 80% of the company population will be taking leave too. when the big boss found out, he reprimanded me, "Kathlyn Lee Abdullah, why are you taking leave on that week too?"
