Not another food post!

back from another trip to melaka, and this time i get to eat without feeling the guilt, becos i've lost 2-3kgs (somebody bitch-slap me please) ever since bulan Ramadhan begun... hee! two things that i must eat everytime i go to melaka - roasted chicken wings and O-jian at kg lapan. i was in the midst of staff meeting last friday and suddenly felt a stab of longing for them. I MUST GET DOWN TO MLK TONITE!

during the trip, i even managed to sneak in a quick fix of coffee at Calanthe's. this cafe actually belongs to the uncle of a friend... what are the chances man! and behold, a truly lovely cream cheese flavoured cake, found at an oddly-named cafe (was it Nadeje's?) somewhere in melaka raya. its called mille something cake, which literally means thousand layer cake in french. love the cheese that is not overempowering with a twinge of lemony flavour. anyhow, at RM7 a piece it better be good >_<

jz to let u know, ur cheesecake picture (albeit plain) has set off a crave for cheesecake in me the other day. i had to jump up n down to beg jacke to drive me to the nearest BreadTop to get a slice. we did jog n run a little to get to 2 other bakeries to check if they had nicer cheesecakes, with no luck.

as i told jacke, "It's not about buyin cheesecake, it's about eating it. n i'm not eatin my cheesecake while walkin, i'm eatin it at home." imagine the whole rush.. i even pinpointed to jacke a few times dat he should concentrate on drivin faster n stop talkin to me in the meantime. he was goin 50 on a 60 kmph road!! it was almost closing time so i was worried dat i couldn't get my cheesecake fix.

My BFF gave me a Screamin' Orgasm

so my trip had came to an end, but not before one final blast of a weekend. my new best buddy brought me to a comedy club, you know like the ones that we see on TV with the stand-up comedians making fun of the audience, which made me kinda worried that i might not be able to pick up the references in the joke, or worse, laugh at something at isn't meant to be funny. the club turned out to be a great experience, and i had my first taste of *ahem* as stated above *ahem* , how cool is that??? the guys were being unusually sweet to me that weekend, by offering to bring me wherever i desire. even my BFF whom i had a falling out with almost every week, made it impossible for me to bicker with him. and naturally, my very last wish before leaving the states would be to visit Cafe Lu again, where drop-dead gorgeous Vietnamese girls sashay around in lingerie (!!) while serving drinks. my favourite waitress is this angelic-looking girl, she is just perfection. and tasty coffee, of course, t
